Authorship

Definition

Credit given to individuals who have made substantial contributions to the conception, design, execution, analysis, or interpretation of a research study and the drafting of the manuscript. ICMJE criteria define authorship requirements.

Example

According to ICMJE guidelines, all authors must have contributed to drafting or critical revision of the manuscript.
